Her previous professional experiences include working as a home based therapist for intensive counseling to children and families in crisis such as child abuse and neglect, parent mental illness, and separation from caregiver.

Trisha has clinical experience in working with children, adolescents and families especially in the areas of sexual abuse/trauma, attachment problems, aggressive behavior, and crisis stabilization. She has worked as a therapist for child and adolescent sexual abuse survivors.

Trisha received her Masters degree in community counseling with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy from the University of Northern Colorado. She also received her Masters in Special Education from Adelphi University in New York and is a licensed special education teacher.
